Helene Fischer was born on August 5, 1984 in Krasnoyarsk in Siberia (Russia) to a couple of German Russians, Marie and Peter Fischer. The father worked as a sports teacher and his mother as an engineer at the university. Her grandparents were Germans from the Volga deported to Siberia in 1941. In 1988, she emigrated with her parents and sister to settle in Wöllstein, in Rhineland-Palatinate1.
At the school in Wörrstadt, she took theater and music lessons. After obtaining her certificate, she trained for three years at the Stage & Musical School in Frankfurt and obtained the diploma. During this training, she obtained her first engagement. She performs on stage at the Darmstadt theater in Rocky Horror Show, as well as at the Frankfurt theater in Fifty-Fifty and the musical Musical A violin on the roof.
Fischer released his first record, Von hier bis unendlich, in 2006.
It was in 2013 that she was very successful thanks to the album Farbenspiel, which sold more than 2.5 million copies. In 2015, she toured 22 concerts, during which she performed in arenas or stadiums. The singer returns in 2017 with a double album of 24 songs and simply titled Helene Fischer. The album is followed by an arena tour of 63 shows and also a stadium tour with 14 shows. 2
Since October 2011, the singer has her wax reproduction on display at the Madame Tussauds museum in Berlin3. The statue was redone in 2017 and a video was made for the occasion on Madame Tussauds Berlin’s youtube channel.
Since May 2008 Helene Fischer has been in a relationship with TV presenter and singer of Volksmusik Florian Silbereisen5. The couple publicly separated in December 2018.6 Helene Fischer has since been in a relationship with a dancer from her team.
According to the latest figures from April 2020, Helene Fischer has sold 12.4 million worldwide.
